Join us for a 6-night Zambian safari, featuring 2 camps in the Luangwa Valley - North Luangwa River Camp and Luambe Camp. Spend 3 nights at North Luangwa River Camp in North Luangwa National Park, known for its rhino sanctuary, outstanding wildlife and remote location. Combine this with 3 nights at Luambe Camp in Luambe National Park, situated on the eastern bank of the Luangwa River.

DAYS 1 - 4

Luambe Camp

Set along the serene Luangwa River in the heart of Luambe National Park, Luambe Camp offers a unique safari experience reminiscent of the unspoiled wilderness of early days in the Luangwa Valley. As the only visitors in this pristine park, guests are treated to an intimate and exclusive adventure surrounded by untouched landscapes and diverse wildlife.

LUAMBE CAMP OVERVIEW

3 nights at Luambe Camp in Luambe National Park

Upon arrival at Mfuwe Airport, a Luambe Camp staff member will greet you and transfer you to Luambe. If you arrive in the morning, there's time for lunch before your first afternoon game drive. Your guide will meet you at 15:00 for an evening game drive including a sundowner stop. The drive continues with spotlighting to spot nocturnal animals like leopards and lions. Return to camp by 20:00 for dinner.

Game Viewing, Walking Trails and Sleep-Outs

Option to spend 1 or 2 nights at Luambe and save the rest of the nights for the return journey.

Coffee or cocktails with the Carmine Bee-Eaters

Luambe is a birdwatcher's paradise, boasting an impressive array of avian species. Our Carmine Bee-Eater colonies are amazing and depending on where they choose to nest, we offer coffee or cocktails with the Carmines in September and October depending if they nest on the east or west bank.

Authentic Luxury Safari Accommodation in the Luangwa Valley

3 nights at North Luangwa River Camp in North Luangwa National Park

After a morning activity, you will leave for a 3-hour road transfer to North Luangwa National Park. Known as one of Africa's best conservation projects, North Luangwa River Camp hosts only 4 raised bungalows, ensuring exclusivity with a maximum of 8 guests. On your final morning, you'll either transfer to Mwaleshi Airstrip to charter back to Mfuwe OR road transfer back to Luambe Camp.
