Being a small and intimate bushcamp, we have the opportunity to focus on our guests and we also encourage guests to take things slowly and enjoy the different activities and experiences on offer in Luambe.r wildlife; it's a living, breathing ecosystem that pulsates with energy and vitality.
Being the only visitors in Luambe National Park, you will truly feel like you have discovered a piece of Africa long left behind! The focus at Luambe is to offer everything that you need and nothing that you don’t! Great guiding, a superb location, warm, home style meals and comfy beds all make for an accommodation experience that brings the safari to life.
Our activities in Luambe (game drives and walking safaris) will reveal it is almost impossible that you will encounter another safari vehicle. This means that we have total freedom on our game drives to spend the time exactly how you want. If you want to follow up on foot when hearing baboon alarm calls, then off we go! If you want to spend 45 minutes with the carmine bee-eaters, then that’s what we do. We have the entire park to ourselves to enjoy at the pace you prefer.

Private & Spacious Safari Tents
Luambe Camp has 4 en-suite safari tents which seamlessly blend rustic charm with modern comfort. In the dry season, hundreds of hippo gather below camp and the resident leopard are almost nightly visitors to the camp. The tents are spacious with a focus on allowing guests the chance to feel like they have escaped to a lost world.
Traditional & Unique Safari Activities
Your safari activities with Luambe can be tailored to your interest! If you would prefer a more traditional safari, we still offer the more traditional program but we do love to have our guests get involved in conservation work when possible.
