This a hybrid package between a traditional Luangwa camp safari and a serious walking trail – it offers the best of both worlds without being too heavily weighted in either type of Luangwa experience.

Summary of Day 1
Arrival in South Luangwa
When you arrive in Mfuwe, you will be met at the airport and transported to one of our partner lodges for a relaxing night in the wilderness surrounding South Luangwa National Park.
You will enjoy a delightful afternoon game drive, welcome dinner at the lodge and have a restful night’s sleep before your big adventure begins tomorrow!
Summary of Day 2
Travel to Luambe NP and overnight at the camp
You morning will begin with a coffee and light snack. Once you are ready, you will embark on your 2-night luxury trail.
Begin your walk from camp with your expert guide and National Park’s Scout. Explore the untamed wilderness of Luambe and share space with both its small and tall inhabitants. As the temperature begins to rise your guide will expertly direct you to a shaded spot for a rest and a delicious bite to eat. The afternoon’s walk will conclude as the sun’s golden light illuminates the open-air luxury of your first sleep out camp. Sundowners and fine dining will complete your evening before heading off to sleep.
Day 4 will follow a similar pattern with a full day spent on the trail followed by a night at the 2nd sleep-out camp.
Summary of Day 3 & 4
Two full days on the Walking Trail
You morning will begin with a coffee and light snack. Once you are ready, you will embark on your 2-night luxury trail.

Summary of Day 5 & 6
Overnight at Luambe and Depart for Mfuwe
Rise with the sun before heading off on your final walk of the trail. A bush brunch in the shade of one of Luambe’s immense trees will mark the end of your trail.
Return to Luambe Camp for an afternoon of relaxation and reflection.
Rejuvenate with the lodge’s amenities, share stories with fellow trail blazers, and savor a delicious dinner. The following morning you will bid farewell to the lodge and the captivating landscapes of Luambe National Park as you depart for the drive back to Mfuwe – taking with you cherished memories of your adventure in the remote Zambian wilderness.
